Our Sustainability Framework for Faith Communities builds from a model of sustainability developed by the University of Michigan and is designed to help members of faith communities create strong sustainability initiatives in their congregations. The Sustainability Workshop guides participants through the Framework, helping them to explore the connections between their faith traditions and sustainability and to create action plans for their congregations.
The workshop helps lay leaders of all faiths develop step-by-step sustainability plans for their congregations. Greening houses of worship helps congregations:
- Save money
- Create healthier neighborhoods
- Find spiritual satisfaction
We have made presentation slides available as PDFs:
